Refunds & Returns
Change-of-Mind
All Dyin Breed products are manufactured on a made-to-order basis. Therefore:
- Refunds will not be issued for change-of-mind, including ordering the wrong size, colour, or variant
- Exchanges will not be offered for change-of-mind, including ordering the wrong size, colour, or variant
These terms apply to all customers in the UK, EU, and US.
Statutory rights available to EU customers under the 14-day cooling-off period.
Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
Customers are entitled to a remedy where an item is:
- defective or faulty
- damaged during transit
- not as described
- not the item ordered
Statutory protections apply as follows:
United Kingdom
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, customers have 30 days from delivery to request a refund or replacement for faulty or misdescribed goods.
European Union
Customers retain all rights under EU consumer protection law, including the right to a remedy for defective or misdescribed goods and the statutory 14-day withdrawal period (see Section 7).
United States
Customers are protected under applicable consumer protection and merchantability laws. Dyin Breed provides replacement for defective or incorrect items, except where a refund is required by law.
Reporting Timeframe
Customers must report any defect, transit damage, or incorrect item within 7 days of delivery.
This timeframe does not restrict statutory rights but ensures timely assessment and resolution.
Failure to report within this period may limit Dyin Breed’s ability to provide a remedy, except where required by law.
Conditions for Return and Assessment
To be eligible for a replacement, the following conditions must be met:
- The item must be returned unworn, unused, and in its original packaging.
- The only exception to the unworn/unused requirement is where the product arrived with a manufacturing defect or transit damage verifiably present at the time of delivery.
- Customers must provide clear photographic evidence, including:
- The item showing the defect or damage
- The external packaging
- The shipping label
- The condition of the item immediately upon delivery
Dyin Breed reserves the right to decline claims if the evidence does not clearly demonstrate that the defect or damage was present upon receipt.
Replacement Request Procedure
To initiate a replacement request, customers must:
1. Contact support@dyinbreed.co.uk within 7 days.
2. Provide:
- The order number
- All required photographic evidence as outlined in section 4 of the refund policy
3. Dyin Breed will review the request and determine eligibility.
4. If approved:
- For faulty, damaged, or incorrect items, Dyin Breed will issue a complimentary return shipping label.
- Items not meeting the criteria for defects, transit damage, or fulfilment error are not eligible for replacement.
5. The customer must return the item using the provided label.
6. Upon receipt and inspection, Dyin Breed will dispatch the replacement item.
Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
Return Shipping Costs
- Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items: Dyin Breed will cover all return shipping costs.
- Change-of-mind returns: These are not accepted except under the EU cooling-off period (Section 7).
- For EU cooling-off returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
Customers in the European Union have the right to cancel or return their order within 14 days of receipt, for any reason.
Conditions:
- Items must be returned unused, unworn, and in their original packaging.
- The customer bears the cost of return shipping.
- Refunds are issued only after Dyin Breed receives and inspects the returned goods.
Note:
Dyin Breed’s products, while made-to-order, are not personalised or customised; therefore, they are not exempt from the EU cooling-off period.
Inspection Upon Delivery
Customers are expected to inspect all items upon delivery. Any issues must be reported promptly as set out in Section 3 of our refunds policy.
Claims relating to wear, misuse, or damage occurring after delivery will not be accepted.
Remedies
Where a valid claim is established:
- The primary remedy is replacement of the item.
- Refunds are provided only where legally required,
- Dyin Breed does not provide store credit in lieu of statutory remedies.
